Over the last couple of days, we have seen an uptick in "phishing" e-mail scams telling users their e-mail account is about to expire or that their e-mail quota is almost full and to click on a link to confirm continued usage. The scammers always like to hit off hours and on holiday weekends when there is more of a chance they can slip in undetected. Remember we (TLU IT) won't send you an e-mail with a link to provide your account and password. Fortunately these past few have been obvious to spot because the return addresses are from non TLU addresses but don't be surprised if you see one that is spoofed to look like it came from TLU. If you get one delete it. If by chance you do send your username and password let us know and change your password right away!
