Testing
We are working with Community Labs of San Antonio to coordinate rapid tests for all students who are unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated. These students will receive an email from Health Services this weekend with details about testing that will begin Thursday, Sept. 16. For questions about testing, please email healthservices@tlu.edu.
Masks
We would like to remind all faculty, staff, students, and visitors that masks are required in all in-door spaces regardless of vaccination status. This includes all campus buildings and classrooms, residence halls & apartments, hallways, meeting rooms, etc. Masks are not required if you are in your office or dorm room alone or if you are eating or drinking. They are not required outdoors if you are vaccinated, but if you aren't vaccinated, you must wear a mask outdoors as well. Masks should have two or more layers of washable, breathable fabric; completely cover your nose and mouth; fit snugly against the sides of your face without gaps; and have a nose wire to prevent air from leaking out of the top of the mask. Gaiters, mesh/lace masks, vented masks, and face shields (without masks) are not recommended.
