This course provides students with the opportunity to synthesize and critically apply theoretical perspectives and evidence-based knowledge from nursing and related sciences to professional nursing practice. Practicum experiences provide opportunities for students to work with a registered nurse preceptor in a variety of healthcare settings with an emphasis on comprehensive patient centered care and transition to professional nursing.
