This course addresses the knowledge and skills needed to provide safe and effective care to adults in a variety of health care settings. Students will integrate basic care and comfort techniques while caring for patients with basic disease processes and evaluate the effects on the client. Emphasis is placed on health promotion, health literacy, safety, and safe medication administration, including complementary and alternative therapeutic moda
