Description
A study of accounting pronouncements and current issues in financial accounting, including Statements of Financial Accounting Standrads, Statements of Financial Accounting Concepts, and International Financial Reporting Standards. Emphasis on research and analysis of accounting standards and written communications, including the preparation of a major research paper integrating multiple sources of accounting information. This course is writing intensive. Prerequisite: Admission to gradute program.
