A survey of the theories, principles and concepts of community psychology including the classic and contemporary models of mental illness prevention and intervention as well as political and grassroots advocacy models of community wellness. Examines successful practical programs applying the principles of community psychology and reviews the research evaluating the development and effectiveness of community psychology applications.
