One, two, or three hours of independent research in a selected topic in physics, applied physics or pre-engineering. Topics will be arranged individually in consultation with a faculty mentor and conducted under faculty supervision. Course includeds an expectation for scientific literature review relevant to the selected topic. May be repeated for credit. Prerequisite PHYS 334 and PHYS 371.
