An introduction to the theory and methods of quantum mechanics. Topics include observables, operators, eigenvalues, stationary states and time evolution of solutions to the Schroedinger equation including 1-D potentials, central potentials, the hydrogen atom, angular momentum, and spin. (Also offered as CHEM 335). Prerequisites: PHYS 334 and PHYS 371.
