The goals of this course are to introduce non-science majors to the scientific method and increase science literacy using the Earth as a focus of study. Discussion will incorporate the disciplines of geology, chemistry and biology as we investigate the various “spheres†of the Earth including the lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere and biosphere. The class will investigate cycles o
