Description
A continuing study of Western music theory, utilizing the basic elements learned in analysis and composition of music. The material covered will include root position part writing, harmonic progression, the circle of fifths, diatonic chords in the major and minor keys bass arpeggiation, part writing with first and second inversion triads, musical form, cadences, motives and phrases, period forms, and non-chord tones. Prerequisite: MUSI 131.
