Description
Music methods and practical experiences for the teaching of beginning instrumental music in a classroom setting in the public schools. Emphasis on management, discipline, and motivational strategies. Will include the study of all brass woodwind, percussion and string instruments and materials and instructional strategies appropriate for this level of instrumental instruction. This course if required prior to enrollment in AMMS 114C, 115C, 116C or 117C for all-level music education majors.
