Description
This course will explore sustainable nature-based tourism including visitor motivations, preferences and expectations, site planning, marketing, sustainability practices and the involvement of, and benefits to, host communities. Throughout the course, natural and wilderness sites will be highlighted and students will explore the connection between humans and nature and compare sustainable tourism to mass tourism
