An examination of texts from different parts of the current or former colonized world including Southeast Asia (India and Pakistan), The Middle East, Africa, Australia, and the Americas. The texts in this course will consider the lasting impact of colonialism and the efforts authors have made to rewrite histories and experiences from the margins. This course may be organized by geographic region, theme (e.g. gender, identi
