Description
How people learn is shifting and so must how we lead learning. Learner preferences, accessibility needs, emerging technologies, expanding modalities, and concerns about learner and educator wellbeing are reshaping engagement across K-12, adult learning, and professional development environments. Honing our craft requires keeping pace. This course examines contemporary learning theories and instructional design principles then applies them to real leadership decisions. Students will analyze how forces such as AI, policy shifts, and evolving learner populations reshape educational practice and develop frameworks for leading adaptive, responsible educational environments.
