This module is for students who are interested in exploring race, identity and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). We will explore the ways racial/ethnic and STEM identities are constructed and we will examine the ways that these identities can inform and empower students to have successful careers in STEM fields, even when they are in a group that may be currently underrepresented in those fields.
