Description
An introduction to the methodology and repertoire used by successful band directors in the instruction of beginning woodwind performers. The instruction will include fundamental performing techniques for all woodwind instruments and the mastery of all fingerings. Students will perform in a class setting with emphasis on practical applicatons in teaching situations. Additional private study of individual instruments is encouraged. Prerequisite: MUSI 110.
