About the Honors Program

   The Texas Lutheran University Honors Program provides educational chal­lenges and responsibilities for highly gifted and motivated students. Recognizing that honors students are broadly and intensely curious, adventuresome, and cre­ative, the university provides unique honors courses populated only by honors students and taught by professors who relish the pedagogical challenges raised by these dynamic students. In addition to an honors curriculum that provides both traditional and non-traditional mechanisms for learning, the Honors Program offers special features designed to enhance the education of honors students.

Honors Program Reference Form Information

If a student has used you as a reference on his or her Honors Program Application please fill out the Honors Program Reference Form. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and will significantly help us in our decision process.
 
* When filling out the essays on this form please type your response directly into the form. If you copy and paste from a word application like Microsoft Word extra characters will be counted which may put you over the character limit. Your essays will be limited to 2000 characters.
